Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized product recommendations based on their preferences and needs
- Educate customers on different strains, consumption methods, and product effects to promote informed choices
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and receipt issuance
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to highlight featured products and promotions
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding age verification, product limits, and documentation
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product filing
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards within the retail space,
including heavy lifting of stock when necessary
Skills
- Exceptional communication skills in English
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to connect with diverse clientele
- Proficiency in computer operation, including Microsoft Office tools like Excel for record keeping
- Experience with retail sales, cashiering, and POS systems to handle transactions efficiently
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory calculations
- Organizational skills to manage merchandising, filing, and time effectively during busy shifts
- Knowledge of hospitality or retail environments to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling stock deliveries or restocking shelves
- Multilingual capabilities to serve a broader customer base effectively
- Leadership qualities to assist team members and contribute positively to store operations
Cannabis Experience is preferred. Pay: From $16.00 per hour
