Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Pension Platform Operations, the Co-op Student supports the PPO team with operational administration, testing, documentation, governance, and continuous improvement activities. The role provides hands-on experience supporting pension technology platforms and operational processes while working with business and technology partners.

The student will complete structured assignments that strengthen team capacity, documentation quality, testing support, audit readiness, and operational consistency. The placement is designed to build practical business, operational, analytical, and technical skills in a team-oriented environment.

What you will do:

- Assist with day-to-day operational administration and assigned team activities.
- Support monitoring operational processes, queues, and work items, and escalate identified issues as required.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, production validations,



and follow-up activities using established procedures.
- Assist with access administration and other structured operational requests.
- Maintain and organize SharePoint repositories, process documentation, knowledge articles, incident workaround documentation, and support materials.
- Review, update, archive, and standardize operational procedures and supporting documentation.
- Support defect retesting, issue reproduction in non-production environments.
- Document test results, update Azure DevOps work items, and collect, organize, and maintain supporting evidence.
- Support operational readiness reviews, CAB documentation, governance activities, and required follow-ups.
- Assist with maintenance and enhancement of Power Automate solutions and other operational tools.
- Participate in operational improvement, automation, and efficiency initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation, reporting, controls, and team processes.

What you will bring:

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program in Business Technology Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage assigned priorities, meet deadlines, and ask questions when guidance is needed.
- Ability to work independently on structured tasks and collaborate effectively with business and technology partners.
- Curiosity, initiative, adaptability, and a strong willingness to learn.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is $21.00 to $31.00 The actual hourly rate offered to the successful candidate may vary based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, individual's expertise and level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered.
