Business Finance Partner - Remote Freelance AI Evaluation Crossing Hurdles is sourcing experienced corporate finance professionals on behalf of our client, a US-based AI frontier lab, for a remote freelance engagement focused on AI model evaluation. This is not a traditional finance role. Our client is building and refining AI systems that need to perform accurately and reliably across complex financial scenarios - and they need real practitioners to evaluate that work.

Review and assess AI-generated responses to business finance and FP&A; scenarios Apply real-world finance judgment to evaluate how well AI handles forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and capital allocation questions Provide structured feedback that helps improve model accuracy and domain relevance Contribute to prompt testing, edge case identification,
and response quality benchmarking Financial planning and analysis Business partnering and cross-functional finance support Capital allocation and investment prioritization Strategic finance and long-range planning KPI development and performance reporting 5+ years of experience in FP&A;, business finance, or strategic finance roles FP&A; Analyst, Senior FP&A; Manager, Business Finance Partner, Capital Allocation Specialist, Strategic Finance Lead CFA or MBA (Finance) preferred but not required Comfort working independently with minimal direction This is a fully remote, asynchronous-first engagement.
