We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will also engage with customers, providing excellent service and advice on meat selection and preparation.

Duties

- Perform meat cutting, trimming, and packaging according to specifications.
- Ensure all meat products are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including tools and equipment.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing information on cuts of meat and cooking methods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meat products for service.




- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in food handling and preparation.

Experience

- Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
- Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and equipment operation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Experience in food preparation within a kitchen environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
