You will work closely with our Survey Engineering team, collaborating directly with field staff on real project data. Your work will directly support the roads, sewers, and watermains that municipalities and communities rely on.

Current Opportunity

We are seeking a full time, permanent CAD Technician / Drone Data Analyst to join our advanced, precise, and technical Survey Engineering Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with legal land surveys and civil engineering design, providing accurate construction layout for surveyors, and processing field topographical surveys to generate earthwork volumes. Candidates must have the ability to learn within a team environment and work independently.

CAD is the primary software, using tools such as Corridors and Alignments to create 3D surfaces for our machine-mounted or handheld GPS systems. Other software used includes Topcon 3D Office and Trimble Business Center.

Qualifications

Must have:

- Civil Engineering Technician or Technologist background
- 1-3 years of CAD (Civil or Legal) experience
- Ability to create surfaces in CAD
- Thorough knowledge of CAD Civil 3D
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work well under pressure




- Effective communication skills
- Collaborator
- Focus and diligence, no distractions

Good to have:

- Legal surveying experience an asset
- Ability to effectively interact with field staff

Educational Requirements

- College graduate

Compensation & Employment Details

- Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (This posting reflects a current, active vacancy.)
- Expected Compensation: $55,000 – $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience
