Role Description: The Capital Markets Specialist is a full-time role who may work remotely with potential to travel on-site to client locations or into our NYC office for meetings. This role involves originating, structuring, and executing capital markets transactions for clients in the sustainable finance space.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining institutional investor relationships, supporting due diligence processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also includes monitoring transactions,



preparing reports for senior leadership, and contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance the firm’s capital markets capabilities.

Qualifications

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with institutional investors and clients virtually, in-person, and at conferences.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong analytical skills, including financial model and data interpretation, market analysis, and ability to utilize AI and other technology to quickly understand new complex information.
- Individual may have experience in investment banking, broker-dealer environments, or capital markets roles in ESG or sustainable investing but is not necessary.
- Knowledge of food production, agriculture, aquaculture, and other food systems, including debt and equity offerings and private placements is a plus, but not necessary.
