Junior Project & Site Assistant – Trade School Sponsorship Included

Location: Okanagan Valley, BC | Position Type: Full-Time (Includes After-Hours / Night Shifts)

About the Role

We are a specialized General Contractor handling diverse renovation projects across the Okanagan, with a heavy emphasis on government and commercial facilities. We are looking for an energetic, reliable candidate to assist with day-to-day site operations, logistics, and subcontractor coordination.

You will work directly alongside a Red Seal Carpenter, learning the ins and outs of project management, specialized carpentry, and multi-trade coordination. No prior construction experience is required—we are fully prepared to train the right person from the ground up and with possible sponsorship for your trade school education if you want to pursue your ticket.

What You’ll Do

- Assist with site coordination, material deliveries, and sub-contractor support across various Okanagan job sites.
- Work flexible hours,



including evening and weekend shifts as required by public/facility renovation schedules.
- Learn technical trade skills, reading submittals/drawings, and general site management directly from a Red Seal mentor.

What You Bring

- Valid BC Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass security and criminal record checks (mandatory for government site access).
- Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a solid work ethic.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work flexible hours across the Okanagan.
