Sprucelee is seeking to expand our team of skilled Carpenters.

If you are a Red Seal Carpenter, or an Apprentice looking to complete your Carpentry training, we’d like to hear from you.

Sprucelee is a family-owned business which has been operating in the Williams Lake and Central Cariboo area for over 50 years, covering the fields of Commercial, Industrial, and Residential construction. Our projects are taken from forming to finish, giving individuals the opportunity to gain knowledge of the entire building process.

Sprucelee has a very low turnover rate due to its long track record of placing high priority on a positive team environment, a healthy work/life balance, and a high level of respect for all team members.

Job Type: Full time

Expected Hours: 40 hrs/week

Pay: Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

· Red Seal Certification in carpentry or extensive carpentry experience is valued,



or registered as a Carpenter Apprentice with Skilled Trades BC

· Ability to interpret construction blueprints accurately

· Proven teamwork skills and adaptability to diverse environments

· Capable of performing the physical aspects of construction in remote (sometimes) and variable weather environments

· Class 5 driver’s license required and reliable transportation

· Standard set of Carpentry tools, and complete set of basic hand tools

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain rigorous safety and quality standards throughout all construction operations

· Foundation and Framing

· Installation of windows, doors, and associated fixtures

· Interior & exterior finishing

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
