Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Cashier/Postal Clerk to join our team at Sandstone Pharmacies Crescent Heights in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Responsibilities: Sort and batch incoming and outgoing mail accurately and on time

Assist customers with mail-related inquiries and services

Verify address accuracy, postage, and packaging requirements

Process transactions such as selling stamps, receiving letters, and handling MoneyGram services

Weigh and calculate postage for letters and parcels; affix correct postage

Operate computer systems for data entry and transaction processing

Perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying as needed

Merchandising items

Maintaining store cleanliness and standards

Greeting and upselling items to customers

Support the Front Store Manager with additional tasks as required Qualifications: Accurate cash handling skills with strong computer and POS proficiency

Previous customer service or cashiering experience preferred; retail and merchandising experience considered an asset

Clear, courteous communication skills with the ability to manage conflict and solve problems effectively

Strong multitasking abilities to serve multiple customers in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Qualified demeanor, including appropriate grooming and wearing a name tag





Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing tasks such as lifting and bending throughout the shift

This position could include a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
