Job Title: CENTRE LEAD SUPPORT

- Centre Lead Support (CLS) - (18 month Fixed-term contract) – FULL TIME – Starting ASAP

Location: Sussex, NB

Job Purpose:

Bee Me Kidz (BMK) is a nonprofit educational organization committed to empowering elementary-aged children and their families with essential social and emotional skills for lifelong success.

The Centre Lead Support plays a vital full time role in assisting with the successful delivery of the Saturday BMK program. This position is ideal for a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, child-focused environment. Working closely with the Centre Lead and other team members, the Centre Lead Support helps create a fun, supportive, and engaging atmosphere where children can grow, learn, and build confidence.

Through their collaborative efforts, they contribute meaningfully to the positive experiences of the children and the broader community.

BMK Centre Lead Support (CLS) will be responsible to support the Centre Leads in the overall running of the in-school and Saturday program. This would include working the Saturday program and teaching in schools and is a full-time temporary position, with possibility of extension.

Program Planning & Implementation

· Contribute to the planning and delivery of weekly Bee Me Kidz (BMK) sessions by taking part in purchasing, promotion, and on-site activities alongside the Centre Lead and team.

· Play an active role in reviewing and strengthening program performance by sharing insights, observations, and ideas that support participant engagement and continuous improvement.

· Collaborate with the Centre Lead and school staff to support the smooth delivery and positive impact of the Bee Me Kidz In-School Program across participating schools.

· Teach and prepare weekly lessons, using shared curriculum, for assigned school(s), collaborating with teachers to ensure effective delivery.

· Organize and participate in the fall launch of Bee Me Kidz at designated schools.

· Inventory and replenish classroom resources as needed.

Staff Management & Collaboration

· Assist in training, supervising, and managing all BMK Saturday part-time staff to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with BMKs strategic goals.





· Collaborate with the Centre Lead to plan, organize and carry out daily tasks and ensure smooth Saturday program operations.

· Partner with full-time colleagues to reinforce best practices, support one another, and maintain a high level of service and professionalism.

· Demonstrate strong teamwork by fostering a supportive environment and maintaining confidentiality and respect for all individuals in the program.

Family & Community Engagement

· Promote Bee Me Kidz throughout the community by participating in school events and volunteering for breakfast programs.

· Help promote Bee Me Kidz in the community by volunteering at local events—setting up information tables, running interactive games, or offering fun activities like face painting to engage families and raise awareness.

Administrative & Executive Support

· Provide support to the Centre Lead, Operations Manager, and Executive Director with assigned tasks and responsibilities as needed.

· Enter new participant registrations into the program’s data management system to keep records organized and current.

· Support the Centre Lead with purchasing supplies and materials as needed, including submitting expense reconciliations and receipts in a timely manner.

Skills & QualificationsRequired Skills

· Leadership and team supervision experience.

· Strong understanding of child development and experience working with children.

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.

· Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

· Empathy, patience, and adaptability in working with diverse families.

· Committed to a full-time schedule (flexible schedule that changes throughout the year)

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.),



Early Childhood Education Certificate/Diploma, or equivalent experience.

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in education or childcare.

· Valid First Aid and CPR certification.

· Experience in social-emotional learning or community-based programming.

· Familiarity with data entry, inventory management, and digital communication tools.

Working Conditions

· Must have access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license; travel between program sites and schools, including weekly travel to Saint John office, is required.

· Must provide a Criminal Record Check, a Vulnerable Sector Check, and a Social Development Record Check. (require upon hiring)

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.

· Must be physically able to lift and carry supplies and equipment (up to 40 lbs.).

· Availability to work Saturdays and occasional evenings for events or meetings.

· Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor settings.

· May be required to stand, walk, or engage in physical activity for extended periods during program delivery.

Additional Considerations

Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in teaching or supporting social and emotional learning. Candidates who reside in the community being served may also be prioritized.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
