Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position involves assisting with various dental procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software Tracker.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and answering questions to ensure patient comfort.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications as a dental receptionist when needed.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area according to safety protocols.
- Assist with orthodontic procedures and care for pediatric patients as necessary.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental assisting practices.

Qualifications





- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in orthodontics being a plus.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Tracker is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children in a pediatric setting.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
