What You’ll Do
- Safely operate Class 1 tractor-trailers and heavy trucks
- Operate end-dump, belly-dump, and other trailers as required
- Haul sand, gravel, aggregate, construction materials, and equipment
- Transport materials between suppliers, job sites, and project locations
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Properly secure and inspect loads
- Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, load counts, scale tickets, and fuel records
- Follow Manitoba hours-of-service and transportation requirements
- Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, customers, and site crews
- Maintain clean and well-kept trucks and equipment
- Report mechanical or safety issues immediately




- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and construction-site safety procedures

What You Bring
- Valid Manitoba Class 1 Driver’s Licence
- Acceptable commercial driving record
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Sand and gravel hauling experience is an asset
- End-dump or belly-dump experience is an asset
- Experience working around construction sites and heavy equipment is an asset
- Good knowledge of Winnipeg and surrounding-area routes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays when required
