Role Description This full-time, on-site Class 1 Truck Driver role is based in Winnipeg, MB and involves Canada-wide trips. The driver will operate Class 1 trucks safely and efficiently, performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and documenting any issues. Day-to-day tasks include transporting freight between terminals and customer locations, securing loads, and unloading as required while following company procedures.

The role requires strict adherence to DOT and provincial regulations, accurate completion of logbooks and delivery documentation, and ongoing communication with dispatch to manage schedules and routes.



The driver is expected to maintain professional conduct, keep equipment clean and in good working order, and prioritize safety and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

- Valid CDL Class A (Class 1) license with a clean driving record and demonstrated truck driving experience.

- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and provincial transportation rules, with the ability to apply them in daily operations.

- Experience operating and maneuvering trucks safely, including loading, securing, and unloading freight.

- Ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

- Good communication skills for working with dispatch, customers, and team members, and for completing required documentation.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed, and to travel Canada-wide for extended trips.

- Physical ability to handle unloading tasks and working in varied weather conditions.

- Previous long-haul or regional driving experience and familiarity with Canadian routes and weather conditions are an asset.
