Duties
- Operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment when necessary, adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure working workplace.
Requirements
- Valid AZ Driver’s Licence
- Clean/acceptable driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
