Design and implement solution architectures that satisfy client requirements, with a robust focus on AI‑enabled and cloud‑native applications. Design AI‑enabled workflows such as chatbots, search, summarization, and automation. Leverage RAG (retrieval‑augmented generation), agentic AI patterns, vector databases, and enterprise search in applied solutions.

Orchestrate multi‑service AI solutions that combine LLMs, APIs, and cloud services.



Guide clients and teams through cloud modernization projects, supporting migrations and adoption of cloud‑native practices. Understand data security and residency requirements, addressing client concerns around sensitive data in AI‑enabled systems.

Ensure solutions comply with security and regulatory standards while managing technical risks across architectures.

Support

Services teams during delivery by addressing architectural questions as projects evolve and refining designs when new requirements or complexities emerge. Build prototypes and participate in demos with clients to showcase how AI and cloud can add value. Communicate architectural decisions clearly to both business and technical audiences.

Collaborate closely with technical leads, developers, designers, strategists, and project managers to deliver high‑quality solutions. Salary range: 140 000 - 175 000 CAD 6+ years of hands‑on experience designing and delivering software solutions. Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Experience designing AI‑enabled workflows (chatbots, search, summarization, automation). Knowledge of RAG, agentic AI patterns, vector databases, and enterprise search.

Experience orchestrating multi‑service AI solutions.



Strong understanding of cloud‑native design and modern architectural patterns. Solid understanding and experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes preferred). Solid understanding and experience with data integration concerns, and platforms such as Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ.

Experience working with major cloud platforms (Azure and GCP strongly preferred, AWS an asset). Ability to integrate AI services into solutions using platforms like Azure AI, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, or third‑party APIs. Hands‑on experience with at least one major programming language (Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or Go).

Strong awareness of monitoring, logging, and security in cloud‑based environments. Adaptability to changing project requirements and evolving AI technologies. Curiosity for AI and eagerness to learn as the industry shifts and recent capabilities emerge.

Practical experience with Agile methodologies.

Experience with threat modeling for AI pipelines and awareness of emerging risks such as prompt injection and data leakage. Familiarity with responsible AI practices, including fairness, bias checks, and explainability frameworks. Exposure to front‑end frameworks (React or Angular) for prototyping solutions. Prior experience building client demos or prototypes to showcase solution designs.

Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) for automated deployments, secure network design (VPC/private endpoints), and robust secrets management. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27000, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. Architech is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.
