Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts efficiently and accurately. Your expertise will ensure smooth production processes, adherence to quality standards, and continuous improvement in machining operations.

Responsibilities

· Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines.

· Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy.

· Conduct inspections and use measurement tools to verify product quality.

· Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make minor repairs.

· Manage inventory of tools and materials to ensure uninterrupted production.

· Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and optimize workflows.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, following all safety standards.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience set up and operating CNC machinery in a metal manufacturing environment is a must .

· Strong technical skills, including reading blueprints and adjusting machine settings.





· Knowledge of quality control processes and measurement tools.

· Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Commitment to safety and a team-oriented mindset.

· Willingness to participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives

- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers an micrometers.
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work pieces.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
- Experience with quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of hand tools, basic machine shop practices, and safety standards in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Basic excel knowledge.

Education and Experience Required: · High School

· Completed CNC programming courses

· Proven ability to adjust CNC programs on machine

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
