Osteopathic Manual Practitioner — Part time Independent Practitioner Opportunity
Cogent Physical Rehabilitation Center is a physiotherapy-led rehabilitation clinic in Burlington, Ontario, providing one-on-one care for clients with musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, neurological conditions, concussion and vestibular concerns, balance issues, and complex rehabilitation goals.
We are currently looking to connect with an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who is interested in joining our clinic on a part-time independent practitioner basis.
About The Opportunity
This role may be ideal for a practitioner who is looking to build or expand their practice within a professional, rehabilitation-focused clinical environment.
The practitioner would have access to treatment space within Cogent Rehab and may benefit from clinic visibility, potential internal referrals where clinically appropriate, and the opportunity to work alongside a physiotherapist in a patient-centred rehabilitation setting.
Expected Hours
This is a part-time opportunity to start.
Expected availability may include approximately 8 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase based on demand, room availability, and practitioner fit.
Evening and/or Saturday availability would be an asset.
Ideal Candidate
We Are Looking For a Practitioner Who Is
- Professional, ethical, and client-centred
- Interested in working within a rehabilitation-focused clinic
- Comfortable operating as an independent practitioner
- Able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and scope of practice
- Open to clinical collaboration with physiotherapy where appropriate and with client consent
- Interested in supporting clients with mobility limitations, musculoskeletal discomfort, sports-related concerns, postural strain, and recovery-related needs
Requirements The practitioner must be:
- A member of the OAO in good standing
- Committed to maintaining independent clinical documentation
- Committed to privacy, infection control, and professional practice standards
- Appropriate use of professional title and scope representation consistent with Ontario requirements
