About Us

Platinum Residential Cleaning Services Ltd. is a professional residential cleaning company serving Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville and the surrounding communities. We are not a general housekeeping service. Alongside regular residential cleaning, our team handles specialty work that most cleaning companies turn down — deep cleans, hoarder cleanings, nicotine and odour removal, post-construction cleanup, and restoration services.

We are growing, and we are looking for reliable, experienced cleaners to grow with us.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days look the same here. Depending on the job, you may be:

- Completing general and recurring residential cleans
- Performing deep cleans and post-construction cleanups
- Working on move-in / move-out services, including packing and moving items
- Handling specialty work such as nicotine and odour removal, hoarder cleanings, and restoration services
- Working independently or as part of a two- to four-person crew
- Communicating with your field supervisor about job scope, timing, and any issues on site
- Maintaining and caring for equipment and cleaning supplies

Specialty jobs such as hoarder and restoration cleaning require additional training and protective equipment, which we provide.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning is required
- Reliable and punctual — our clients schedule their day around us
- Detail-oriented,



with pride in finished work
- Physically able to perform the work, including lifting, bending, and being on your feet for the length of a shift
- Comfortable working across different job types, including heavier specialty work
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay Starting at $17.50 per hour, with rates up to $23.50 per hour for experienced cleaners who drive and are trained for specialty work.

Pay is based on experience and job type. A deep clean, hoarder cleaning, or restoration job pays at a higher hourly rate than a general clean, because it's harder work and that should show up on your cheque.
