Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Common Area Cleaner to join our team full-time at a up-to-date condo building. In this vital role, you will ensure that all shared spaces—lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and amenities—are spotless, welcoming, and well-maintained. Your proactive approach will contribute to a clean, safe, and inviting environment for residents, visitors, and staff alike.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of all common areas including floors, walls, windows, and fixtures to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness of entryways, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms, and other shared spaces regularly.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment efficiently to ensure effective sanitation without damage.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or fixing minor issues to keep the building in top condition.




- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Keep detailed logs of cleaning activities and maintenance requests for accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills to report issues clearly and efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in shared community spaces.
