Livingstone Range School Division invites applications for the position of two Complexity Team Lead Teachers. Duties will commence September 14, 2026 or as mutually agreed. As part of Alberta Education and Childcare's Class Size and Complexity Grant , we are seeking highly collaborative, skilled and innovative certified teachers to serve as Complexity Team Lead Teacher s.

The Complexity Team Lead

Teachers will work alongside classroom teachers, educational assistants, administrators, families and specialized professionals to strengthen programming and supports for students with diverse and complex learning needs. This is a classroom-embedded, capacity-building role. The successful candidates will support teachers by helping identify student strengths and needs, developing responsive programming, modelling effective practices, implementing targeted supports and removing barriers to student participation and learning.

We are seeking a teacher who: builds strong relationships with students and creates safe, caring and inclusive learning environments; believes all students can learn and experience success; demonstrates robust knowledge of inclusive education,



differentiation and responsive programming; has experience supporting students with diverse and complex academic, behavioural, communication, social-emotional, sensory and/or adaptive needs; translates assessment information, observations and student data into practical classroom programming; is skilled at co-planning, modelling, co-teaching, coaching and collaborative problem solving; collaboratively develops practical strategies, interventions, routines and resources that can be implemented by classroom teams; understands positive behaviour supports, regulation and proactive approaches to challenging behaviours demonstrates knowledge of effective literacy and numeracy instruction and intervention; works effectively with school staff and specialized professionals; builds positive working relationships with staff, students and families; values the cultures, strengths and experiences of diverse learners, including First Nations, Métis and Inuit students; demonstrates strong organizational, communication and documentation skills; and is passionate about building the capacity of others to support student success.
