Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift | Some Saturdays as Required

What You’ll Do
- Perform concrete finishing for sidewalks, curbs, slabs, approaches, roads, foundations, and other concrete structures
- Place, spread, level, and finish concrete according to project specifications
- Operate hand tools and concrete finishing equipment
- Use screeds, bull floats, hand floats, edgers, groovers, and other finishing tools
- Set and maintain proper grades, elevations,



slopes, and drainage
- Perform broom finishing and other specified surface finishes
- Install and finish expansion joints, control joints, and construction joints
- Assist with forming, reinforcing steel, dowels, and preparation before concrete placement
- Check concrete surfaces for proper level, grade, slope, and finish
- Work with concrete crews during concrete pours
- Assist with concrete placement and cleanup
- Safely operate small construction equipment and tools when required
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow project specifications, drawings, and supervisor instructions
- Follow all company safety policies and construction-site safety procedures
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and project problems to the supervisor

What You Bring
- Previous concrete finishing experience preferred
- Experience with sidewalks, curbs, slabs, roads, foundations, or other concrete construction
- Good understanding of concrete placement and finishing procedures
- Ability to read and understand basic construction plans and grades is an asset
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail




- Good physical stamina and ability to perform construction work
- Ability to work as part of a crew
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Valid driver's licence is an asset

- Experience with commercial and municipal concrete projects
- Experience with concrete sidewalks and curb construction
- Experience with road and roadway concrete
- Experience with formwork
- Experience with rebar and reinforcement
- Experience operating concrete saws and other construction equipment
- Experience reading elevations and using a laser level
- Experience with power trowels and other concrete finishing equipment
- First Aid certification
- Construction safety training
