Construction Site Supervisor

Valorous Construction Ltd. is a construction company based in Kelowna, BC, providing construction services for residential and commercial projects.

We are currently looking for a Construction Site Supervisor to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in Kelowna, BC.

The successful candidate will be dependable, organized, hands-on, and able to manage day-to-day construction activities while working closely with workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

Job Duties

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day work at construction sites. Your duties will include:

- Supervise workers on site and make sure daily work is organized and completed properly.
- Coordinate work between employees, subcontractors, and other trades working on the project.
- Review blueprints, drawings, and project plans to understand the work that needs to be completed.
- Assign tasks to workers and provide direction and training when required.
- Help hire workers and oversee their work throughout the project.
- Make sure workers follow company policies, site procedures, and all applicable health and safety requirements.
- Keep track of employee hours, site activities, safety concerns, and other important project information.
- Plan daily work and make sure projects stay on schedule.
- Work with subcontractors to coordinate their activities and avoid delays or conflicts on site.
- Deal with problems that come up during construction and find practical solutions to keep the work moving.




- Check the quality of completed work and make sure construction is being done according to the plans and specifications.
- Monitor the progress of projects and report any delays, issues, or additional requirements.
- Coordinate the ordering and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and other supplies needed for the project.
- Communicate with management, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients as needed regarding project progress and site requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site.

Position Requirements
- Completion of high school.
- 2–3 years of experience in a related construction field.
- Ability to work a variety of hours, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, shifts, and overtime when required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Able to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as with a team.

Wage: $40.25 per hour

Vacation Pay: 4% of gross wages, paid each pay period

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
