We are a leading manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to support our accounting department.
Job Summary The Corporate Accountant is responsible for supporting the organization's financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance requirements.
The position is a 9-month temporary part-time contract from September 2026 to May 2027. Hours may be variable but is expected at approximately 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts and investigate variances.
- Assist with external audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and accounting procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Support payroll processing by verifying hours and entering timesheets
- Support the Controller and CFO with financial analysis, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years related experience in accounting or any combination of education, experience, and training.
- Intermediate experience with MRP and ERP software system
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Attention to detail required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Advanced computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows
- Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem solving and decision making abilities
- Robust work ethic and a positive attitude
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
