Responsibilities
- Assist with food production and preparation when necessary
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs, emphasizing value sales opportunities. while encouraging patrons to expand there culinary interests by trying new exciting tastes
- Offer samples to logistics drivers and patrons when hot table area is not busy
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for pricing and discounts.
- Provide expert advice on ingredients use in our recipes and flavour profile of our foods
- Engage in inside and outside sales efforts by building rapport with repeat customers and identifying new sales opportunities through open communication promoting catering and additional grab and go sales
- Maintain organized clean displays and ensure the dining area/communal space is inviting
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally
Qualifications
- Experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably within food service or grocery
- Strong communication skills in English; South Asian multilingual abilities are a plus for serving our diverse customer profile.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols.
- Food preparation experience beneficial (food handlers certificate
- Demonstrated ability to promote and sell feature and signature items.
- Organizational skills for managing product displays, ensuring product quality, freshness
- Basic math proficiency formanaging transactions accurately.

Candidates must be a citizen of Canada or have a vbalid work visa for a minimum of 12 months The succesful candidates will be automatically enrolled in training for our =Jr Sales manager position for our new restaurant which is scheduled to be opening in 2027. Pay: $17.60-$23.00 per hour
