Data Entry Responsibilities

· Entering customer orders by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents and giving to logistics

· Ensuring appropriate turnaround time on all data entry

· Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities

· Review orders for deficiencies or errors, and correct any incompatibilities if possible

· Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents

· Keep information confidential

· Respond to queries for information and access relevant files

· Comply with data integrity and security policies

Answering phone calls, including price quotes and stock checks

Assist with inventory and ordering

Data Entry skills and qualifications

- Accurate typing and data entry skills
- Ability to take direction verbally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team




- Excellent attention to detail
- Communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic computer programs
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Understanding of grammar
- Excellent customer service skills in an office setting minimum of 2 years

Job Type: Full time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
