Reporting to the Director, Distribution Operations, the DC Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on Distribution Centre (DC) performance across inventory, service, productivity, transportation, and warehouse operations. The role provides actionable insights to support operational excellence, inventory optimization, customer service performance, and continuous improvement initiatives across both conventional and automated warehouse environments.

What you will do

Distribution Centre Performance &

- Analytics Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and scorecards to track Distribution Centre performance.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service, productivity, inventory, capacity, and cost.

Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide actionable recommendations to support operational efficiency, customer service, and business growth.

Support forecasting, labor planning, and capacity planning activities.

Inventory

Performance &

- Optimization Monitor inventory health, accuracy, availability, and productivity metrics.

Analyze inventory trends, including inventory turns, aging, excess, and slow-moving stock, and recommend corrective actions.

Support inventory control initiatives and collaborate with Purchasing and Inventory Management teams to improve replenishment performance and stock availability.

Order

Fulfillment &

- Service Performance Monitor order flow and fulfillment performance from receipt through shipment.

Track service levels, open orders, backorders, and delivery commitments to identify and mitigate service risks.





Partner with Operations and Customer Service teams to resolve service issues and improve order fulfillment performance.

Warehouse

Slotting, Capacity &

- Layout Optimization Develop, maintain, and continuously optimize warehouse slotting, zoning, and storage strategies across conventional and automated distribution environments.

Analyze product movement, storage utilization, order profiles, and demand patterns to improve space utilization, throughput, inventory accessibility, and labor productivity.

Lead slotting, re-slotting, and capacity planning initiatives to support operational changes, new product introductions, growth, and inventory optimization.

Maintain warehouse location master data, storage rules, and slotting parameters within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Support warehouse layout design, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects to ensure safe, productive, and scalable operations.

Measure and report on space utilization, slotting effectiveness, replenishment activity, and productivity outcomes. Productivity &

- Continuous Improvement Measure and analyze labor productivity across departments, shifts, facilities, and operational processes.

Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve workflow, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.





Develop performance benchmarks and support continuous improvement initiatives across Distribution Centre operations.

About You: You have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field. (An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.)

You bring 3+ years of experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or a similar operational environment.

You have experience developing and maintaining operational reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business performance.

You are highly analytical and can interpret operational, inventory, productivity, and service performance data to identify trends and support decision-making.

You are proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

You have a solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, slotting strategies, capacity planning, and continuous improvement practices.

You have experience supporting warehouse optimization initiatives, productivity improvements, or automated distribution environments, which would be considered an asset.

You hold, or are working toward, professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, SCMP, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP, which would be considered assets.

You are recognized for your strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
