Lake Country IGA is currently hiring two Part-Time Deli Clerks to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service by answering customer questions, making recommendations, offering samples, and responding to requests
- Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing deli meats and cheeses
- Preparing special orders and party trays
- Maintaining attractive and well-stocked deli displays and service cases
- Updating displays and customer-facing areas to showcase new products and promotions
- Ensuring product quality, freshness, and presentation standards are maintained
- Following all food safety, sanitation, and department procedures
- Maintaining clean, organized, and service-ready work areas
- Complying with all company policies and regulatory food-handling requirements
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous deli, grocery, or food service experience is an asset
- Current FoodSafe Certificate required
