Ctrl's stack spans robotics fleets, autonomous docks, geospatial processing, and operational software used in the field every day. It needs a technical leader who can hold the whole system in their head — and make it faster, safer, and simpler. As Director of Technology you'll own the technical roadmap across Operate, OODA, AirBase, and the Data Store: architecture, engineering velocity, platform reliability, and the build-vs-integrate calls that decide what we ship next.

Note: This is a player-coach role. You'll write code, review designs, and stand next to operators when systems meet the real world. What You'll Do Own the technical vision and architecture across Ctrl's product lines. Lead and grow the software and data engineering team; set the bar for quality and speed. Make platform decisions — autonomy integrations, edge compute, cloud infrastructure, security posture. Translate field and client feedback into a ruthless, sequenced roadmap.

Own reliability: uptime for docks, pipelines, and client-facing systems.

Represent

Ctrl's technology with clients, partners, and government stakeholders. What You'll Bring 8+ years in software/robotics engineering with 3+ years leading teams. Track record shipping production systems that touch hardware — robotics, IoT,



aerospace, or similar.

Depth in at least two of: geospatial pipelines, autonomy/robotics integration, cloud platforms, edge compute.
