Duties

- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Assist in organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Support food handling procedures by ensuring all items are properly cleaned before use in food preparation or service.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils during busy service periods.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards in accordance with food handling regulations.
- Contribute to a positive team workplace by demonstrating hospitality-focused behavior and supporting overall restaurant operations.

Experience

- Prior experience working in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued!
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards in a fast-paced setting is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of food handling practices and safety protocols helps ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Experience with food preparation or cooking can be beneficial but is not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
