Join our team as a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper this Fall. In this vital role, you’ll be the backbone of our food service environment, ensuring dishes are spotless, kitchen areas are sanitized. Your enthusiasm and commitment to cleanliness will help create a positive dining experience for our guests.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food industry and develop essential kitchen skills. The job runs from September 1- October 30th, when we close for the season.

Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Support the kitchen team in organizing supplies, restocking dishware, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure a hygienic workspace.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times,



including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Skills

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key!
- Basic understanding of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Robust teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to assist with meal preparation and food handling tasks as needed.
- Good physical stamina for standing long periods and lifting moderate loads.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and proper use of cleaning supplies.

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
