Duties

- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service times
- Follow food handling safety standards to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination
- Support the overall cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen workplace by removing trash and recycling materials regularly




- Collaborate with restaurant or hotel staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours
- Adhere to health and safety regulations consistently to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling practices, and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations or food preparation processes is a plus
