Dog Groomer (Part time Evenings) – The Grooming Lab The Grooming Lab is a boutique, one-on-one dog grooming salon focused on providing a calm, personalized experience for every pup. We are currently looking to add a confident, experienced groomer to our team for a couple of evening shifts per week.

This role is ideal for someone who is independent, reliable, and passionate about quality grooming and animal care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Providing full grooming services (bath, brush, haircut, nail trims, deshedding, etc.)
- Working independently in a one-on-one grooming environment
- Communicating directly with clients during drop-off and pick-up
- Assessing coat condition and recommending appropriate services
- Advocating for each dog’s comfort, safety, and overall well-being
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and completing end-of-shift cleaning
- Handling dogs with patience and care, especially those who may be anxious




- Managing your time efficiently to stay on schedule

Requirements:

- Minimum 2+ years of professional dog grooming experience
- Must have your own grooming tools/equipment
- Confidence working independently without supervision
- Ability to safely lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs
- Strong understanding of breed standards and coat types
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
