We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Taper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to create smooth, even walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will help bring construction projects to life by transforming raw structures into polished, professional spaces.

Responsibilities
- Apply joint compound (mud) to drywall seams, corners, and fasteners to create a seamless finish
- Tape drywall joints using paper or fiberglass mesh tape for durability and smoothness
- Sand finished surfaces to achieve a flawless, even appearance suitable for painting or further finishing
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate application of finishes
- Caulk gaps and joints to enhance insulation, soundproofing, and overall aesthetic quality
- Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of debris regularly
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall finishing, taping, and sanding within construction environments
- Knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and general handyman skills is highly desirable
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Strong understanding of drywall installation processes including drywall hanging and finishing techniques
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights as needed
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality results
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
- Must have a vehicle and drywall tools
