Role Overview: Engineers provide technical design, analysis, and review services to support secure, compliant, and reliable project execution. The role translates client specifications into accurate deliverables, ensures compliance with codes and standards, and supports project teams through disciplined engineering practices, clear communication, and timely issue resolution.

Strong engineering performance protects project schedules, budgets, and quality, strengthens client confidence, and supports predictable project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Overall design responsibility of development and execution of HVAC system control systems
- Creation of deliverables such as control schematics, control narratives,



shutdown keys, logic ladders, and other deliverables as required
- Demonstrate team leadership experience within EPCM and superior knowledge of engineering protocols.
- Lead smaller teams of electrical and control projects and direct efforts of assigned engineering and project services personnel.
- Lead HVAC system commissioning activities in the field
- Maintain accurate documentation and file deliverables per standards.

Experience & Qualifications: · 4 – 6 year’s progressive experience.

· Previous experience with HVAC control and automation engineering

· Engineering degree with progressive EPCM experience.

· Strong understanding of engineering codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

· Ability to prepare accurate calculations, reports, and technical deliverables.

· Experience reviewing drawings, vendor documentation, and specifications.

· Clear, professional communication and reliable follow‑through.

· Eligible for or holding P.Eng. designation (role‑level dependent).

Employment Requirements

· Remote position; must reside in Alberta.

· Valid driver’s license and acceptable abstract for client and vendor site visits (project / work dependent).

· Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to maintain a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number for the duration of employment.

· P. Eng and registration with APEGAP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.00-$52.00 per hour

Work Location: Remote
