Experienced Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Installer

Pay: $38.00–$42.00 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Installer to join our team in Calgary.

We are looking for a skilled professional who is confident working with high-end cabinetry, millwork and finish carpentry and who can complete assigned work independently from start to finish.

This is not a helper or entry-level position. We need someone who understands professional finish quality, works accurately and takes responsibility for the final result without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

- Install kitchen cabinets, vanities, built-ins and other cabinetry
- Install and work with high-end custom cabinetry and architectural millwork
- Accurately level, align, scribe, fit and adjust cabinetry and finished components
- Install cabinet panels, fillers, trim, hardware and finishing details
- Install baseboards, casing and interior trim
- Install and adjust interior doors
- Install door hardware
- Complete feature walls and custom finish carpentry details
- Perform accurate measuring, cutting, fitting and installation
- Complete deficiencies and final finishing work
- Read drawings, measurements and project scopes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete assigned work independently and on schedule

Requirements
- Proven professional finish carpentry and cabinet installation experience
- Strong experience installing kitchens, cabinetry, built-ins and/or architectural millwork
- Experience working with high-end finished materials and cabinetry




- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Own professional finish carpentry and cabinet installation tools
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, scribe, level and install finished components
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual and qualified

Experience with custom homes, high-end residential construction, renovations, commercial interiors or custom millwork installation is an asset.

Compensation

$38.00–$42.00 per hour, depending on experience, skill level and demonstrated performance.
