Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety
- Assist in food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Support the team during busy service periods by managing multiple orders with speed and accuracy
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant kitchens with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and sanitation practices
- Excellent understanding of meal preparation processes across various cuisines
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Familiarity with serving protocols and customer service expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm for learning new techniques and contributing positively to team dynamics
Pay: $17.00-$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
