ITJ Cleaning is hiring reliable, experienced and detail-oriented residential cleaners to serve customers across Toronto and the GTA. This is a casual, on-call position with hours based on customer bookings.
Pay and Schedule
- Starting pay: $18.10 per hour
- Approximately 1–15 hours per week
- Flexible, on-call schedule
- Weekday and weekend availability may be required
- Hours are not guaranteed and depend on customer bookings
- Various residential locations across Toronto and the GTA
Responsibilities
- Complete standard, deep, move-in and move-out cleaning services
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures and baseboards
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Clean mirrors, countertops, sinks and exterior appliance surfaces
- Empty garbage and replace bags
- Follow the company’s cleaning checklist and quality standards
- Complete assigned homes thoroughly within the scheduled time
- Handle customers’ homes and belongings with care
- Report damages, safety concerns or missing supplies immediately
- Communicate professionally with customers and management
- Properly care for and return company cleaning equipment
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of professional residential house-cleaning experience
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Must respond to work-related calls and messages during agreed availability
- Must own a smartphone with data and be comfortable using mobile apps
- Must regularly check the company scheduling app for assignments, updates and job information
- Must have a reliable vehicle or be able to pick up cleaning equipment from downtown Toronto
- Must be able to travel independently and reliably to assigned homes throughout Toronto and the GTA
- Flexible availability and willingness to accept on-call assignments
- Reliable, punctual, organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in homes that may have pets
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand, bend, kneel and lift up to 25 pounds
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Able to provide two qualified references
- A clear criminal background check may be required before starting
