Cameo Truss Ltd. is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our Prince George team.

As a Western Canadian leader in roof trusses, engineered wood products, ICF, and structural beams, we have been proudly serving British Columbia for more than 30 years. With the recent opening of our Prince George office, this is an exciting opportunity to become a valued member of a growing team and play a key role in our continued growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, working with customers, and seeing their designs become real products. Experience is an asset, but we are willing to provide in-house training and practical experience in our manufacturing facility to the right candidate.

Duties

- Working independently and alongside other team members in both our Prince George office and our main office in Williams Lake
- Design and detail structural wood components using MiTek Sapphire/Structure and related software
- Designing roof trusses for residential, commercial, and agricultural projects
- Designing engineered floor joist systems
- Designing structural wood beams and SCL members
- Estimating and supplying Nudura ICF systems
- Preparing estimates and producing orders for manufacturing
- Reviewing plans and interpreting architectural and structural drawings accurately
- Coordinating product deliveries and project requirements ensuring adequate planning and preparation procedures with Williams Lake manufacturing facility.
- Communicating professionally with customers by phone,



email, and text
- Managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines and customer expectations

Education & Experience A Civil Engineering Technology diploma or Red Seal Carpenter certification is preferred but not required. Experience in structural design, construction, framing, building materials, drafting, or engineered wood products would be considered an asset.
