ELIM Upholstery & Supply Corp. is looking for an experienced Upholsterer / Trim Technician to join our team.

We specialize primarily in automotive upholstery and custom interiors, but our work also includes marine and furniture upholstery. We are looking for a skilled upholsterer with strong hands-on experience who can confidently complete projects from start to finish.

Position Details

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, or Contract / Project-Based

Pay: $25.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience, skill, speed, and quality

Work Location: In person

About the Role The successful candidate will be able to independently handle upholstery projects with minimal supervision. You should be comfortable working with different materials, patterns, foam, sewing, fabrication, and installation.

Our primary focus is automotive upholstery, so strong automotive experience is required. Candidates must also have hands-on experience with marine and furniture upholstery.

Responsibilities

- Complete upholstery projects from start to finish
- Remove, measure, pattern, cut, sew, fabricate, and install upholstery
- Work on automotive seats, door panels, consoles, headliners, and custom interiors
- Perform custom automotive upholstery and restoration
- Complete marine upholstery projects, including boat seats, covers, tarps, and bimini tops
- Reupholster and restore furniture such as sofas, chairs, and custom pieces
- Perform foam shaping, seat rebuilding, and structural repairs
- Operate industrial sewing machines and other upholstery equipment
- Work with vinyl, leather, fabric, foam, and other upholstery materials
- Maintain high-quality workmanship while completing projects efficiently
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on upholstery experience
- Strong automotive upholstery experience is required
- Hands-on marine upholstery experience is required
- Hands-on furniture upholstery experience is required




- Strong cutting, sewing, pattern-making, and fabrication skills
- Experience with foam shaping and seat rebuilding
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Good problem-solving and fabrication skills
- Reliable, honest, self-motivated, and hardworking
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality
