Job Details: Button Health in Toronto, Ontario is looking for full time and part time family physicians to join its family practice at Bay and College. Physician starts with 1,200 verified waitlisted patients to attach, growing past 2,000 by month six (proportionate to hours worked). Continuity care only, no walk-in, no call.
Responsible for providing full scope of family practice. Duties include examining patients and taking their histories, ordering laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures, consulting with other medical practitioners to evaluate patient’s physical and mental health and providing referral services. Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
Provide acute care management. Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness, and accident prevention. They will also perform patient advocacy role and continuous care to patients.
Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
Doctor is supported by 2 FT MOA’s, office manager, clinical assistant, with offsite administrative managing scheduling, billing, referrals, intake and callbacks. Button Health provides all tools, supplies, equipment, and patient marketing,
3rd party billing available. Hours to Monday to Friday, Saturday as optional and as needed for the FHN.
Payment structure: is FFS FHN, split arrangement is 80/20 with free overhead (100/0) for the first OHIP Billing cycle. Annual bonus (not connected to OHIP or Block fee billings) from $65,000 PT to $120,000 at FT.

Clinic Details: The 1700sq ft clinic is a newly renovated purpose-built office with seven exam rooms located on the corner of Bay & College, with lab, imaging, cardiology, sports medicine within the building. Densely populated area, demographics skew younger, with waitlist consisting of predominately Caucasian and Asian patients.
Requirements:
- CCFP certification, or board certification in family medicine through an approved training program in the USA, UK, Ireland, or Australia
- Eligible for a CPSO Certificate of Registration for Independent Practice
- Eligible for CMPA coverage
Pay: Up to $540,000.00 per year
