Fashion Sales & Styling Associate – Korean Women’s Fashion

BENATRA is looking for an experienced, professional and fashion-minded Sales & Styling Associate to join our Richmond team.

Immediate availability is preferred.

This is not simply a cashier or general retail position.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys women’s fashion, personal styling and building long-term relationships with customers. Our customers come to BENATRA not only to purchase clothing, but also for recommendations on how to look polished, comfortable, modern and stylish.

BENATRA specializes in contemporary Korean women’s fashion, with a focus on quality, detail, comfort and sophisticated styling inspired by up-to-date Seoul and Gangnam fashion.

- Have previous experience in fashion retail, apparel, boutique sales, luxury retail or strong customer service
- Enjoy working personally with customers and helping them discover styles that suit them
- Are confident recommending clothing, colours, accessories and complete outfit combinations

- Are responsible, dependable and comfortable working independently
- Take pride in maintaining a beautiful and organized retail environment

Language Skills Because BENATRA serves a diverse clientele in Richmond, professional conversational ability in Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean, in addition to English, is strongly preferred.

Your Responsibilities

- Welcome and engage with every customer professionally




- Understand each customer's individual style, preferences and needs
- Recommend clothing and coordinate complete looks
- Help customers discover styles, colours and silhouettes that work well for them
- Develop relationships with new and returning customers
- Provide knowledgeable and attentive customer service
- Process customer purchases accurately through our POS system
- Assist with receiving and organizing new merchandise
- Maintain merchandising and visual presentation standards
- Keep the boutique clean, organized and welcoming
- Learn about BENATRA collections, fabrics, styling and Korean fashion trends
- Work cooperatively and professionally with other team members

Position Details

Location: BENATRA – Aberdeen Centre, Richmond, BC

Position: Full-time / Part-time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Compensation: Wage will be discussed during the interview and will be based on the candidate’s previous fashion retail experience, customer-service background, language skills and overall qualifications. Candidates with strong and relevant experience may be considered for a higher wage.

The advertised wage range should be included in the Indeed posting in accordance with applicable BC pay-transparency requirements.
