Job Summary

Mega Rebar, a rebar fabricator and distributor situated in Maple Ridge, BC, is actively seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Field Rebar Foreman. This is a permanent, full time opportunity that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise rebar installation crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and schematics
- Offload rebar trailers and position steel so each piece can be hoisted as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute rebar layouts
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to align schedules and resolve on-site issues promptly
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure rebar is installed correctly, meeting all safety standards and building codes
- Enforce safety protocols on-site, conduct regular safety meetings, and address any hazards or violations immediately




- Document daily progress through detailed reports and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders
- Accurately track and communicate employee hours worked across various job sites to support payroll

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:

- Minimum 3-5 years proven supervisory experience in rebar installation or related construction roles
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift, bend, twist and maneuver without physical restrictions.

Schedule:

- Overtime, weekends and evenings when required
