The RolePlanet Watch is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Finance Officer to manage day‑to‑day financial operations, track budgets, oversee donation processing, and produce explicit financial reports for leadership and the Board. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys accuracy, organization, and contributing to a mission‑driven team.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting records and ensure accurate financial data entry
- Track budgets, spending, and variances across programs and projects
- Process donations, and maintain donor financial records
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial summaries for leadership




- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with grant reporting and financial documentation
- Maintain organized digital financial files and administrative records

Qualifications

- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or nonprofit financial administration
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
- Ability to produce clear, concise financial reports
- Proficiency with accounting software; experience with WAVE is an asset
- Integrity, reliability, and commitment to Planet Watch’s mission
