Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver food orders promptly to customers’ locations
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to ensure timely arrivals
- Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery details and answer any questions
- Handle food items carefully, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition
- Manage heavy or bulky deliveries that may require heavy lifting or moving equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within your vehicle and delivery gear
- Report any delivery issues or customer concerns to management promptly
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving privileges
- Experience with moving or handling heavy items, including forklift or warehouse experience (preferred)
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
- Excellent customer service skills to create positive interactions during deliveries
- Knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic laws for efficient navigation
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus but not required
