Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves preparing, serving, and maintaining food service areas in a rapid-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in the food service industry while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. We are holding Interviews on Friday 21 August 2026 at 1650 Bath Rd Kingston

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Assist with setting up dining areas and ensuring cleanliness before, during, and after service
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly assistance
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels for food, beverages, and utensils
- Clean kitchen equipment, dining areas, and workstations regularly to uphold sanitation standards




- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
- Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt and courteous service

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 25 pounds)
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices is preferred but not mandatory
- Must be at least 16 years old or older depending on local regulations
