Forklift Operator – Day Shift

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our day-shift production team. This position works closely with production line members and involves daily forklift operation, including safely and efficiently moving pallets and materials throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, physically capable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a forklift daily to safely and efficiently move pallets and materials throughout the facility.
- Work closely with production line members to support daily production activities.
- Organize and maintain warehouse areas.
- Safely lift and handle bags weighing up to 25 kg (50 lbs).
- Perform tasks that may involve climbing and working at heights.
- Maintain strong attention to detail to support quality control standards.
- Complete simple and repetitive tasks accurately and consistently.
- Adapt to changes in the order and priority of daily activities.
- Assist with washing and sanitizing manufacturing equipment using a pressure washer.
- Follow proper hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

- Valid Forklift Operator Certification required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Commitment to proper hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety practices.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Ability to reliably commute to North Bay, ON, or plan to relocate before starting work.

Experience

- Manufacturing & Utilities Occupations: 1 year preferred
