Join our dynamic team as a Forestry/Timber Cruising Assistant and play a vital role in sustainable forest management and timber assessment. In this energetic and hands-on position, you will support timber cruising activities, assist with forest inventory data collection, and help ensure accurate measurement and evaluation of forest resources. Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute to responsible forestry practices, environmental conservation, and efficient land use planning.
Duties
- Assist with timber cruising by measuring and recording tree data using specialized tools and equipment
- Assist with Timber development
Experience One or more years of forestry/ field work experience (not required).
Physically fit, organized,
willing to work in all weather conditions and work remotely in camp.
ATV and snowmobile experience.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
Occupational First Aid
Experience using a tablet/Ipad and Avenza (not required).

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
