Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and possess excellent communication skills, ready to handle multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Responsibilities

- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed
- Answer phones, deal with calls accurately and professionally
- Share in the responsibility to maintain the cleanliness of the overall clinic
- Be willing to learn and quickly transition into optical sales
- Duties include: performing recall phone calls, confirming appointments, booking and organizing doctors' schedules, coordinating specialist referrals, triaging eye concerns over the phone, maintaining backend pricing and reconciliation, performing insurance billing and OHIP billing, opening an closing the clinic, participating in all aspects of sales and dispensing of glasses and contacts

Qualifications

- Proven office experience with solid organizational skills and attention to detail




- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and general computer skills
- Experience with data entry, filing systems, and clerical tasks in a busy environment
- Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is a plus, including knowledge of front desk operations specific to healthcare environments
- Strong typing skills, proofreading abilities, and organizational aptitude for managing multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 16.0 per week
