We are seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist to join a community pharmacy in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, with the position becoming available November 1, 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist looking to experience life in Canada's North while building a rewarding professional and personal experience.
An Exceptional Compensation Package
- CAD $80–$90/hour
- Approximately CAD $153,920–$187,200/year, depending on hours worked and hourly rate
- 37–40 hours per week
- Relocation allowance provided

- NWT registration fee reimbursed
- Annual licensing fees in the pharmacist's province of licensure reimbursed
Flexible Schedule
The pharmacy operates Monday through Sunday, with flexibility to discuss the schedule with the successful candidate.
- 37–40 hours/week

A Manageable Pharmacy Environment
This is not an extremely high-volume pharmacy,
allowing you to focus on quality patient care without the constant pressure often found in large urban pharmacies. You'll also have pharmacy assistant support, and the pharmacy uses Kroll.
Your Responsibilities
As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately and safely
- Reviewing prescriptions and assessing medication therapy
- Providing medication counselling and patient education
- Supporting patients with medication-related questions
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and local care providers
- Maintaining accurate records using Kroll
- Ensuring compliance with NWT pharmacy standards
- Supporting daily pharmacy operations
Please note: Injection certification is not required, and the pharmacy does not currently provide injection services.
What We're Looking For
- Licensed Pharmacist in Canada
- Registered and in good standing in another Canadian province
- Willingness to obtain registration in the Northwest Territories
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness and enthusiasm to relocate to or work in Canada's North
- Kroll experience is an asset
