Duties
- Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide furniture construction and assembly
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, woodworking equipment safely and efficiently
- Cut, shape, sand, assemble, and finish wood components to create custom furniture pieces
- Install cabinetry, countertops, and hardware with precision to ensure durability and visual appeal
- Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure specifications are met while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship
Experience
- Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or furniture manufacturing with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for precise fabrication
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for detailed woodworking tasks
- Experience with machinery or manufacturing processes is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling and assembly processes
